If you see something, say something
The Los Angeles Police Department uses the number of reports received to prioritize which neighborhoods get the most patrols. The more reports our neighborhood files, the more police presence we have. That’s why it’s important to report anything you think is suspicious.
To report a non-emergency situation, such as a crime after it’s taken place or a suspicious person, call the LAPD non-emergency number at (877) ASK-LAPD.
For a life-threatening emergency be sure to call 911.
You can also file a report online. This is particularly useful for vandalism, break-ins, etc. You may file an online police report here: https://www.lapdonline.org/file-a-police-report/
